Patricia Flowers Jacobina, alto soloist
Patricia Flowers Jacobina is a western Pennsylvania native with a lifelong love of music. She has been an accompanist, organist and soloist for various churches and holds a degree in Organ from Westminster College, New Wilmington PA. She was a founding member and soloist with Voce, a Reston, Virginia vocal chamber group, and performed in musical theatre throughout northern Virginia. A mezzo soprano, she has sung Mary, from Resphighi’s Lauda per la Nativita, as soprano soloist with the Harrisburg Singers performing Bach, as mezzo soprano soloist in Handel’s Messiah at the Byhum Theatre in Pittsburgh, the Vivaldi Gloria and Mozart Mass with Westmoreland Choral Society in Greensburg, PA. Additionally, she debuted the role of the Evangelist in Nancy Galbraith’s Passion of Saint Matthew both in Pittsburgh and Manchester, England. Patti has sung with the Westmoreland Choral Society and the Westmoreland Symphony Chorus since returning to western Pennsylvania in 2013 and is a vocal student of Diana Walters and Thomas Octave at Saint Vincent College, Latrobe Pa. She currently resides in Ligonier, Pa with husband Charles, and son, Logan.
