Debra Johnson graduated from Westminster College with Bachelor Degree in Music Education.
Debra also graduated with high honors from Youngstown State receiving an Associate Degree in Labor Studies Technology.
New Wilmington resident Debra Johnson is the rehearsal pianist and has sung alto in the chorus since 2001. She has been organist and choir director at Trinity Episcopal Church of New Castle since 1991. She has been the Church Secretary at Neshannock Presbyterian Church, New Wilmington, since 2011. Previously worked as Human Resources Management for 30 years and served as the organist at Church of Redeemer, Hermitage, for 10 + years.
* Debra has enjoyed raising funds for the Humane Society of Mercer County for over 10 years and continues to do so.
* Has served as a Board of Directors member and received an Appreciation Award from HSMC in 2007.
* Is a member of the Carillonneurs of North America (carillonneur status).
* Has 2 rescue dogs and 1 rescue cat.
* Has participated in the New Castle Music Club Chorus Messiah Presentations for many years.
